We lived in the same home in Walnut Creek, raised our 2 children, and created many wonderful memories. After enjoying our home for over 40 years, we acknowledged we weren’t as young and energetic as we once were. We recognized the need to downsize was imminent, so we began our tasks to accomplish this. “In 2011, I was in the need of a realtor to help sell my late father’s home. Being from out-of-state, I asked one of his neighbors, who recommended Dayna Wilson based on other local feedback. I selected Dayna to help sell his home and she was extremely helpful getting his house inspected, appropriate repairs identified, contractors identified, repairs completed and finally staged for sale. Dayna’s knowledge of the local market was effective in setting a fair price that yielded a sale in short order.

Based on our prior experience, I called Dayna to help sell another 'investment' property in July of 2022. Again, Dayna and her team arranged a home inspection and assisted in finding contractors to perform work within a tight time schedule. My decision was to sell this property “as-is” but recognized that certain improvements would be necessary and Dayna’s input on what was appropriate was most helpful.

Using comparable sales, a target price was set, but Dayna quickly recognized that with the change in interest rates and resulting impact on sales, an adjustment in the asking price was appropriate. We reacted quickly, yielding to multiple offers above the adjusted asking price. Being out-of-state, I relied on Dayna to provide continuous feedback to me throughout the sales process and she helped satisfactorily resolve a last-minute issue identified by the buyer. I worked with Dayna on the sale of my late brother's condo. My brother lived in Walnut Creek, California and I live in Washington state. Her help was invaluable in getting through the sale of his condo. She worked with me for 5 months even though I couldn't sign a listing agreement due to delays caused by the court not being open due to COVID-19. Originally, I thought we'd improve the condo and she introduced me to contractors. Ultimately I decided to sell the condo as-is. She was very responsive and helped arrange to get the condo cleaned out for sale. She provided excellent advice on the listing price to encourage interest and explained that listing at a lower price wouldn't necessarily mean getting offers for less than I was willing to accept. The market for the condo was excellent and we received 14 offers at or above the listing price within 3 days of listing. The highest offer was 20 percent above the listing price and the property closed in about a week after it was listed. Dayna worked extremely hard and was very proactive in sheparding the sales process working with me, the other realtor and the title company to see that the closing went smoothly. I found Dayna to be easy to work with and very knowledgeable about her craft. I would highly recommend Dayna for any real estate transaction.

Working with Dayna and her team made the selling of my mother's home a snap! Dayna was able to coordinate pre-sale repairs, inspections, painting and staging, which really enhanced the home - and we had offers immediately. Since I did not live very nearby the home it was so helpful to have a local team coordinating things for me - it really saved time.  Documents were easily sent and received online and escrow was handled very smoothly. Dayna and her team were awesome. My Dad just turned 90 and needed to sell his house and move out of state into assisted living. The house had "good bones" but needed a lot of deferred maintenance. Dayna coordinated the whole process, from arranging home inspections, repair estimates, moving and/or disposing of his furniture and personal effects, and even gathering up mail that wasn't forwarded and sending it to him after the house was sold. Her advice on pricing and marketing the house was spot on, resulting in a cash offer above our asking price shortly after we listed the house. Dayna Wilson is fantastic! Dayna was recommended to me by a friend who said she is the perfect real estate agent to help a first-time buyer find and purchase a home. (That would be a first-time buyer like me -- terrified about the whole idea of finding and purchasing a home!) When I first met Dayna, I knew my friend was right about Dayna.

Dayna is so perceptive. When she and I first met, she saw my anxiety. After we chatted for a minute or two, she explained home buying, financing, closing, etc., in a way that alleviated my worries. She quickly identified what I was looking for and had lots of ideas about options which would interest me. Dayna is delightful, has a great sense of humor, and is so fun to be with! Our experience with Dayna was delightful. We met her at an Open House when we were just starting the process looking for a new home. At the time we did not have a realtor, so we were definitely looking for one that fit our needs and wants. We spent a good deal of time getting to know her and found out we had a family member who knew her and her mom well. We knew right away that she was the right realtor for us!

Soon after meeting her at the Open House, we were signing papers and listing our house. This was a stressful process, but she was right there to support with any questions or needs we had. She even did most of this while out of town. She was very responsive and was able to be reached by phone, text, and email.

The house selling process went quite smoothly thanks to Dayna. We listed our house and within a week of it being on the market, it sold! There were a few bumps in the road finalizing all details with the buyer, but Dayna was there to take care of all the necessary paperwork and communications to make sure the house sold in time for us to purchase our next home.

During the last few weeks of finalizing the sell of our home, we made an offer on a house we were interested in moving to. This was again a stressful process as we only had a few weeks to move into our next home. Our fear was we would not find a new home in time to move into before we had to be out of our home that sold.

As with any purchase of any home, there are always things that can hold up the final sell. This situation was quite unique as the seller went out of the country without notifying anyone, so finalizing the paperwork was extremely difficult and very stressful. We only had one week left in our house before we had to move out, so getting into the house we purchased was not an easy process. Luckily, with her professionalism and constant line of communication being open, not to mention she was a GREAT advocate for us, we were able to move out of our home and into the next one just in time without moving into storage and living in a hotel.
