It's November and we are almost...almost finished with 2020.
Life is upside down and sideways in so many ways and for so many reasons.
What's with the real estate market, you wonder?
Record home price increases, and record sales. Record low inventory and days on the market fewer still. What is really strange is that we've not seen the traditional end of selling season yet. Buyer demand usually slows in late summer and early fall. But, seasonal patterns are being broken this year. Well, everything else is experiencing a "new normal", so I guess not much surprises me any longer. It's the old Supply vs. Demand.
Here are some recent stats for some of the cities we work in. The story remains similar in most surrounding Central Contra Costa cities.
